Is God aware of the trials of the righteous?
Life can be very difficult and painful for both the godly and ungodly. Sometimes you ask if God is aware of what His children are going through. Because we believe that God delivers us from evil and He orders the path of the righteous. So if God is aware then He should do something or better still He could’ve made us immune to trials and tribulations.
In 2 Corinthians 4:17, the bible says- our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory ….. also in Psalm 34:19 it says many are the afflictions of the righteous…
My point is, God is fully aware of what you are going through; the battles you are fighting and the pain you are feeling. In as much as He wants you to be happy and be victorious without any evil, He also wants you to build endurance which will build the right character in you.( Romans 5:3-4)
Why does God allow the trials of the righteous?
He allows it because it is part of this present life. He allows it because they refine us. He allows it because He can deliver us from them all( Psalm 43:19). He allows it because He knows we can overcome them( 1 Corinthians 10:13). He allows it because that is part of our purpose.
Trials can be part of our purpose?
Yes! Whatever you are going through can impact other people’s lives if you allow God take you through them. God can use every and any situation and turn them for our good( Romans 8:28). You just have to trust Him and surrender everything to Him. Your survival through your trials isn’t only beneficial to you but can help strengthen others. That is purpose too.
The trials of the righteous doesn’t always end the way we want it.
And no! Sometimes your trials may not even end , you may have to grow through them. Some even die with them. Our victory over our trials is not always when it’s no more but the ultimate victory is that we fought it to the end with God. Remember, 2 Corinthians 4:17, it says our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them. The verse 18 continues to say that so we should fix our minds on that which is unseen not what is seen for that which is seen is temporary but that which is unseen is eternal.
So sometimes, our victory over our trials may be that which is unseen- the eternal victory.
Don’t be discouraged because of what you are going through. Don’t let what you are going through separate you from the love of God so that you lose your eternal glory and victory.
Learn to smile through trials, that is victory. The most painful thing that can happen to the righteous is not afflictions but separation from God.
May it be said of us that we fought to the end, may it be said that our afflictions did not separate us from God. May it be said that even though we were afflicted, on every side, we still kept the faith.
Because our ultimate victory is not seen, it’s eternal.
